The 1980's was a very crazy time but one thing came out of it that has made a real
impact on how we view the outdoors.
Yes the great game of paintball was invented in the 80's and today it has grown in leaps and bounds.
Paintball is a very exciting game that use paintball guns and different scenarios to simulate military close
encounter events.

The two most important accessories would be the paint ball guns and the actual paintballs for ammunition.
So what's a paintball gun and how doest it work? You can think of a paint ball gun as a replicafirearm.
However, there are no gun powders just air, carbond dioxide force the propel the ammunition (paintball)through
the barrel.A velocity of 300 ft/s is need to allow the paintball to explode on impact but wontcause injuries.
There are 4 important parts to the marker (gun); these are the body, the tank, the barrel and the hopper. The
firing mechanism is located in the body. And there are 4 different firingsystems.
One of the more popular system is the electro-pneumatic which is basically electrical control through batteries.
Electro-pneumatic guns can be fired in burst or full automatic. Also notice that electrical systems use spring
while the pressure systems use compress air.
The hopper is the component that holds the paintball for the marker to fre. You can think of the hopperas a sort
of magazine. The tank is where the compress gas that will fire off the rounds is kept. And obviously, the barrel is
the extension that the rounds travel through. There many different types of barrel for different effects.
